OMA's Rotterdam office is looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team. During this internship you will support the HR department in their daily activities and perform various operational and administrative tasks.
The HR department in Rotterdam is responsible for implementing and managing all processes and policies related to the employee lifecycle in all our offices worldwide. This includes processes related to recruitment, employee benefits, salary administration, health and safety, and immigration procedures.

Responsibilities
- Assisting in recruitment and on/off-boarding processes with new hires and departing employees
- Regularly updating employee records to maintain an updated database
- Assisting with leave/holiday administration and related communication with employees
- Processing timesheets
- Working on ad-hoc tasks related to general HR, immigration and recruitment procedures
- Coordinating and supporting the optimization of our HR policies and procedures
Requirements
- Currently completing a Bachelor or Master degree (or recent graduate) in Human Resources Management or a similar field
- Proven experience with Microsoft office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Experience with an ERP system is an asset
- Basic knowledge of Dutch labor legislation is preferred
- Fluency in spoken and written English (Dutch is an asset)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team
The HR internship is offered for 5 days/week, for a duration of 6 months, and you will receive a monthly stipend. This internship will start in March 2024.
